Obtained injunctive relief against Federal and State officials, prohibiting signing of First Exxon Valdez Settlement on behalf of three village corporations.

In re Exxon Valdez, Case 89-095 (HRH) (consolidated).

Involved as part of the team of lawyers in punitive damages case against Exxon Shipping and Exxon Corporation.

Chenega Corporation et al. v. Exxon Corp., Case 3AN-89-2574 (consolidated).

Represented three village corporations against Exxon Corporation and Exxon Shipping through trial; verdict in excess of $6 million dollars, including damages to land and archaeological sites.

TAPL Fund Proceedings.

Recovered final determinations in excess of $18 million on behalf of three village corporations in Prince William Sound damaged by Exxon Valdez Oil Spill, including highest single determination ever made by the Fund. Awards subsequently increased: In Re Appeals from Trans Alaska Pipeline Liability Fund, Case T-92-1000 (HRH), Orders 17, 19, and 20.

Successfully represented Native family in allotment fight against the National Park Service.

Native Village of Perryville v. Tague, Case No. 3AN-00-12245 CI.

Successfully represented Native Village against State assertion that Native villages lack jurisdiction to enforce Tribal law in Alaska.
